Very good hills for running up! (says Millie)

Nice little mini market!

The race was great, and all the horse riding

I found the town of Carunchio very pleasant and beautiful especially the surrounding landscape. I found a sense of awe, viewing the exceptional mountains. (Aub says)

The beach was very hot. Maybe even the see was quite warm too! Carunchio was great! (millie says)

Thanks for your welcoming hospitality + introduction to the village and things to do. Fabulous weather, views, people, food etc. Fortified to face the autumn now!

15th – 22nd Aug

This was my 4th visit to Carunchio and at Clare’s recommendation we joined in the Ecological walk 17th August.

Strenuous it was but what a fantastic atmosphere.

We stopped for breakfast and then near the end there was a huge picnic.

There was music and dancing and a general enjoyment of the event.

In the evening there is a festa in fact two weeks of celebration.

If you want to see and experience true Italian village culture this is the time to come.

I will be back next year to do the ecological walk, you would not regret it if you decided to join in.

Comfortable shoes/boots recommended
